DIESEL TECHNOLOGY

Fluid Power and Electrical Systems
Basic hydraulics, hydrostatic drive transmissions, use of freestanding engines and skid steer loaders, torque Convertors, Allison transmissions, basic DC electricity and electrical systems, repair and troubleshooting of hydraulic systems, pumps and cylinders, and mobile electrical systems.

Engines
Diesel engine rebuild, identification, manual usage, turbochargers, failure analysis, measuring, diagnostic troubleshooting, engine brakes and tune-up on Caterpillar, Detroit and Cummins.

Engine Management Systems & Refrigeration

Low and high-pressure pumps and injectors, tanks, filters, transfer pumps, nozzles, and operation of fuel systems, cab air conditioning and transport refrigeration, basic hand tools and fasteners.

Power Trains
Antilock brake systems, manual transmissions, single reduction, through drive, and double reduction differentials, manual clutches and flywheels, 121 air brake systems, axle and driveline alignment, power take off units and wheel bearings.
